Timbre Press is an independent publisher based in Denver, Colorado, devoted solely to publishing a series of anthologies, Stories of Music, which celebrates music’s positive impact on people’s lives. Featuring works of authors and artists from around the world, this collection of books captures the universal nature of music, including stories of generations past and present day music lovers. The first volume, which was released in 2015, won two Next Generation Indie Book Awards—one for the Anthology category and Third Place Grand Prize for Non-fiction—and it was also recognized with a Colorado Book Award. Volume 2 was released January 10, 2017 and received a 2017 International Book Award for Anthologies: Nonfiction and a Finalist in the 2017 Next Generation Indie Book Awards’ General Nonfiction category..
